Whitening:

Zoom is the teeth bleaching system made popular by Extreme Makeover and The Swan. In about an our and a half we can significantly lighten the color of your teeth. We also fabricate custom made trays and give you the peroxide gel, so you can maintain your new white smile. One things that has frustrated us with previous bleaching systems is the amount of sensitivity that you have one day later. We purchased ZOOM 2 because it has been specially formulated to cause much less sensitivity.

Comprehensive Dentistry:

Our patients love the fact that we provide a full scope of dental procedures. One thing that most people hate is going to the dentist only to find out that they must go to another specialist to complete their treatment. I have taken hundreds of ours of continuing education as well as taken a General Practice Residency that has greatly expanded the number of procedures that normally would have to be referred to a specialist. We perform Endodontics (Root Canals), Oral Surgery, Implants, and Peridontics (Treatment of Gum Disease).

Cosmetic Dentistry:

At our office we are proud to be part of da Vinci dental studios, Extreme Team. Da Vinci is the lab that manufactures “da Vinci Veneers” as seen on the shows Extreme Makeover and The Swan. We have extensive training in cosmetic dentistry and have done hundreds of veneers and all ceramic crowns. Our patients are amazed at how beautiful and life changing cosmetic dentistry can be. Comfortable Shots:

We are always amazed at the fact that many dentists don’t deliver shots that are painless. We use a special formulation of topical anesthetics that greatly reduce the pain involved in shots. We use a relatively new anesthetic known as Articaine that gives us a more profound anesthesia a lot quicker than Lidocaine. We pay special attention and make sure you are comfortable throughout the dental procedure.

Amalgam Removal:

In the past, the silver filling was material of choice for small and medium sized cavities. Newer dental materials have since replaced this workhorse. Although there is debate on the safety of silver fillings, everyone would agree that they are just not that pretty! Small silver fillings can be replaced with composite, a tooth colored plastic. Larger amalgams need a stronger material. CEREC CAD/CAM porcelain inlays and onlays are a great alternative to crowns when replacing medium sized cavities.

Sedation/Sleep Dentistry:

Some patients have much fear and anxiety from previous dental experiences. Some patients, especially children, cannot sit through long dental appointments. Some people just don’t want to remember what is going on! Dr de Oliveira utilizes KouroshNoormand MD, and anesthesiologist to put patients to sleep during dental procedures. All of your dentistry can be done at once while you are sedated. The best part is that you won’t even remember the appointment!

Financial Plans:

Lets face it, dentistry is expensive. Dental insurance is becoming less available and covers very little of the cost of your dental work. We work with CitiBank as well as All Care Financing that allows you to make payments up to a year interest free!
